What's new in 2025

2025 is CARRACE' 26th season, we will continue to run regular Friday night sprint rounds, endurance rounds and intermittant mid-week meetings. Championship events will proceed through to December and will be followed by the AGM. Midweek racing is usually scheduled in a week that does not have a championship round.

General rules

• Race night fees have increased to $10 per meeting.
• Race night host’s allowance has increased to $40 per meeting
• Class selection has been updated
• At the beginning of the year, the Club Chairman selects five classes for the first sprint series.
• At the end of the first sprint series, members are asked to select three of the five classes to be dropped for the second sprint series.
• At the end of the second sprint series, any classes used in both the first and the second sprint series will automatically be dropped for the third sprint series, and members are asked to select one of the remaining classes to be dropped for the third sprint series.
• At the end of each sprint series, members are asked to select three new classes which will be added to the subsequent sprint series.

There are no new classes introduced for the 2025 season.
